Suzan Cooper, CCIM
As a Partner of Margaux Development Company, Suzan Cooper is primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of MDC.scooper@margauxrealty.com Development Partner In addition to MDC's business management and strategic planning, Suzan is also responsible for project development services that include third-party commercial real estate broker and investor relationships, and legal, title and other non-construction related assignments that support new retail projects. Since 1980, Cooper has had commercial development, marketing, leasing, sales and management related assignments in affiliation with commercial real estate organizations, Miller Commercial, Paragon Group, NationsBank and the TaiVan Corporation in the Dallas, Ft. Worth Metroplex. Prior to her association with Margaux Texas Ventures, Inc., she was a development associate with retail development organization, the Woodmont Companies in Ft. Worth, Texas, engaged in the pursuit of retail development opportunities in Texas and surrounding southwestern states. Cooper's commercial real estate experience includes: regional responsibility for leasing, marketing a multi-million SF commercial property portfolio; regional responsibility for the management of a two million SF retail portfolio in Texas and the east coast; implementation of a new business development program for national construction, real estate consulting firm identifying build-to-suit, design/build, construction management and brokerage opportunities. Cooper has negotiated leases and the sale of commercial property in excess of one million SF. A licensed real estate broker in Texas, Ms. Cooper holds the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. Cooper served as President of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) in 1988, and on the Board of Directors for 5 years. She also served on the Board of Directors of the North Texas CCIM chapter and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Suzan has a B.A. degree from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.
